Be your personal best

Hello!

I hope 2016 has started nicely and adventurously and will bring many exciting moments and lots of fun:).
My new year started at Tallinn, Estonia. I had such a good trip! And it did so much good to me :).
It was nothing like my trip to Denmark in November, which possibly even had negative effect on how I felt about my life, and which made me feel I've left so much behind for coming to Wageningen and couldnt I have chosen another university (but the trip itself was lovely anyway :)). Going to Estonia really made me feel good.

Brother's face is priceless! :D
Firstly, obviously it is just that it is so good to be with my friends and family who I havent seen in a long time, but whose love to me and mine to them, luckily never fades off or changes.
But because they know me so well and are honest to me, many of them also took notice in my whining and complaining, which I apparently was doing more than ever. Lovely as they are, they recommended me to stop complaining and start enjoying what I am doing, that it is only two years and so good for me. Also, my friends are really proud of me. They think it is cool that I travel around and live in different places and meet new people all the time. And all that really had an effect on me. It made me see how much support, care and cheerleaders I have in Estonia, and also, how much I have to appreciate about the life here in Wageningen.
So by first of January 2016 when it was time to sit on the plane and fly back, I was rather looking forward to arriving back to Wageningen, and I must say, I havent been disappointed :).
I passed both of the exams from last period, which, taken that I missed 3 weeks out of 6, makes me rather happy, and therefore I will have two weeks off in February, where's the time for re-exams.
Currently I am following Advanced statistics for nutritionists, which is going double speed, as we only have one course all day, instead of having one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
But it is going good. Statistics I mean and going to uni. And I also go to the gym and running..I feel mentally happy and physically good :).
About new years resolutions....I didn't really have any. Of course there is a lot I would like to become better at and some things I'd like to change about the way I am, but therefore, I decided, like my good friend Thomas always recommended me - To be my personal best :). If that won't do, then nothing will, right? :). And I think it's a nice thing to be :).

So that's what I will be trying to work on this year (and probably also every following year of my life). I hope you all have good resolutions, ideas or plans, and that you are enjoying the year! May 2016 be a good year for all of us :).

Best wishes,
me.
